Thomas Steven Price was the ancestor of Steven H. Price, and the doctor responsible for overseeing electro-therapy treatments at the Vannacutt Psychiatric Institute for the Criminally Insane. When the Institute's inmates revolted against the staff in 1931 and caused a fire in the asylum, Dr. Price was one of the five asylum staff members who survived.
Price's descendant, Steven, would throw a party at the Vannacutt facility sixty-eight years later, and would be killed in the house and join the ghosts trapped there.
